WHAT IS A UNIT OF BOTOX?
Botulinum-A and Botulinum-B block nerve signals to the muscles. To contract, a muscle must receive signals from peripheral nerve endings. These signals are the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, which binds receptors to muscle and initiates muscle contraction. Botulinum toxin inhibits the release of acetylcholine and therefore also inhibits muscle contraction.

Note that the only treatments listed above that are FDA approved are for glabellar lines and crow’s feet.
Will 2 units of Botox do anything?
